join us in lifting up Michael with a slice and a smile! Michael, who eats Papa John’s pizza five days a week (we swear he’s 98% pepperoni!), is facing a tough health battle right now. His story recently touched the heart of local Papa John’s owner, John Workman who didn’t even know how much Michael loved their pizza.

Michael eats pizza 5 days a week. He’s 98% DNA Pepperoni pizza from Papa John’s.

I received a call from the owner John Workman of our local Papa John’s stores in our area wanting to help Michael –

John doesn’t know me, and he had no idea that Michael loves his pizza- it was what he ate before heading to church that night. Pizza box still in my fridge….- so that was a God thing too- he works in miraculous ways.

I think Michael would get a kick out of seeing his friends and family – even people that just love pizza post a pic today.

If you don’t buy it for yourself – send it to someone else or for a co-worker.

I’m very grateful that John is willing to do this- it will be very special later on when Michael is able to understand the generosity of his community.

Update- we decided to do the trach- for emergency access if needed – but he’s still very weak and just completely exhausted from coughing all the time. His big brown eyes looking at me for help is more than I can take sometimes. But I want him to know I’m here at all times and he’s not alone.
