I wanted to share a little of our story and introduce myself. My name is Bindi Sue Irwin and my world revolves around wildlife conservation. My parents, Steve and Terri Irwin, involved me and my brother in their conservation work every chance they got. Their thoughtfulness to include us really set the foundation that my entire life rests upon.

I feel tremendous purpose in my work and our family’s mission as Wildlife Warriors. For us, conservation work isn’t just a job, it’s a part of who we are. My mum, brother, husband, three year old daughter and I all live at our wildlife sanctuary, Australia Zoo, which we own and operate as well as The Crocodile Hunter Lodge.

Australia Zoo is a world’s best conservation destination, with enormous habitats for all our animals. We pour everything into ensuring the utmost care for our wildlife. We’re part of endangered species breeding programs that are vital for species protection. We want every guest who visits Australia Zoo to leave with a greater appreciation for our natural world and a desire to protect Mother Earth. We’ve protected nearly have a half million acres of conservation property across Australia.

We created our nonprofit organisation, Wildlife Warriors, which supports global conservation initiatives. From elephants to sharks – we support animals through enormous wildlife protection projects. Our Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital treats approximately 10,000 patients per year. This lifesaving work continues to expand utilising cutting edge medical treatments for the wildlife that comes into our care. We are tremendously grateful for our dedicated team of wildlife nurses and vets who provide an incredible healing space for every patient.

The goal with each animal brought into care is to give them the best chance at life in the wild once again. Over the years we have done a lot of filming work to raise awareness for our planet. My parents first started filming ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ back in the 1990’s which has now been watched by BILLIONS of people worldwide. Everything we do, we earn, we are, is for conservation. Thank you for sharing this adventure with me.
